Case Law Summary

In the case of R v Cousins 2021, it was held that the conviction was safe where it was held that section 120(2) of the Criminal Justice Act 2003 was a standalone provision meaning the recent complaint evidence of the witness had been correctly admitted into evidence despite the victim not mentioning it in her evidence.
